Mitch is an Air Force Veteran, entrepreneur, and jack of all trades. After building jet engines (from scratch!) at Honeywell for 15 years, he went on to own a couple different businesses – from a jewelry gallery to a full-service car wash. However, he found his passion in 2004 when he obtained his real estate license.

After a successful start selling real estate, he was hired to be a branch manager and also taught classes at the AZ School of Real Estate & Business. He brings managerial experience and knows the contract inside and out. His expertise in negotiating and his ability to communicate effectively has translated into lifelong clients and a thriving referral business.

He believes family is the most important thing in life and gets tremendous joy by being actively involved in his four children’s lives. Before Curtis joined the business, he was flying up to Denver every weekend during basketball season to watch Curtis play – a true, die-hard fan. When Curtis graduated in 2011, they joined forces and created The Mitchell Group Real Estate Team.

Aside from real estate, Mitch is also the worship pastor for Black Mountain Baptist Church where he plays the guitar and leads worship with his wife, Susie, who plays the keyboard. However, most of his energy goes to their 7 grandchildren, who they spoil more than you could ever believe.
